I have a desire to call Ghana (West Africa), my home at least for a season. I have never been, but the pictures and the friends I have made with people from there are enticing me to visit and stay awhile.
As a native Texan, who has traveled on a limited basis; my dream is travel the world and be able to stay for extended periods of time to become immersed in other cultures. Sometimes I think we become so ethnocentric and do not realize our way of life is not the only way. Learning to see life through other’s eyes can be liberating.
